Overview
An experienced Project Scheduler with expertise in planning, scheduling, analysis, and reporting for utility-scale EPC solar and vertical projects. Demonstrates proficiency in scheduling best practices, project controls, and collaborative coordination, ensuring project timelines are met effectively.
Core Responsibilities
- Schedule Development and Monitoring: Establish and oversee the earned value baseline and schedule updates, maintaining compliance with industry best practices.
- Contract and Schedule Management: Proactively address contract schedule issues and manage daily task scheduling challenges.
- Pre-Mobilization & Construction Schedules: Develop detailed schedules adhering to departmental standards, working closely with pre-construction and construction teams to ensure accurate sequencing.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Lead weekly construction-related meetings, fostering active schedule engagement and alignment among stakeholders.
- Critical Path & Resource Analysis: Conduct critical path analysis, track schedule adherence, and report on resources, costs, and earned value.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives, gathering feedback from project teams to enhance scheduling processes.
- Work Breakdown Structures (WBS): Create WBS and load resources for project phases, coordinating updates from project stakeholders and contractors.
- Schedule Reporting: Generate and compile schedules, charts, diagrams, and status reports, providing clear project insights.
- Performance & Problem Analysis: Assess schedule progress, identifying potential issues and corrective actions for schedule optimization.
- Master Schedule Maintenance: Manage master schedule logic, tracking impacts of delays, task adjustments, and resource allocations.
- Status Reporting: Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly status updates, summarizing productivity and schedule statuses for management and clients.
- Documentation: Document project activities, correspondence, and presentations for effective stakeholder communication.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience: 7-15 years in project planning and scheduling within construction or engineering.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in earned value software, MS Office, Google Suite, MS Project, and Primavera P6.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of scheduling techniques, industry standards, and specifications.
- Deliverables: Proven ability to develop and present detailed, high-quality reports for management and stakeholders.
