This position is for an Inspection and Supplier Communication Associate at the manufacturing facility in Maryville, TN. Candidates must be willing to work a 6:45 a.m. – 3:15 p.m. shift, Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime may be needed. This individual will report to the Quality Coordinator and Plant Manager.
What will you do?
- Contribute positively to the team.
- Read and interpret purchased part drawings.
- Create inspection control plans.
- Inspect parts per drawings and control plans using calibrated equipment.
- Record inspection results, and transfer material.
- Create discrepant material reports when applicable.
- Communicate discrepancies with internal team and suppliers.
- Enter supplier corrective action requests in online system.
- Follow up on supplier discrepancy communication and corrective action requests until resolved.
- Produce quality results in a reasonable time frame.
- Rotate through different tasks and learn different products.
- Perform tasks as the manager or team coordinator directs.
- Comply with all safety rules and standard safety practices.
- Keep workstation area and housekeeping at company standards.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Proficiency in written and verbal English.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Excellent attendance record.
