Job Description:
The Subcontractor Coordinator is responsible for working directly with Icon Power’s installation and sub contractor partners by requesting quotes, approving scopes of work while keeping our customers up to date. In addition, a Subcontractor Coordinator is expected to communicate with sub-contractors, jurisdictions, and internal departments to ensure that every project is flowing through the proper channels efficiently and effectively. It is the responsibility of this role to get projects that require sub contracted work to “installation ready” consistently and create SOW, SOPs for our partners as required.

Responsibilities:
- Keep track of work to be completed, ensuring we’re efficiently working through the queue.
- Research PowerKill and Meter Pull process, costs, status update for new markets and determine codes/requirements affecting solar installation.
- Read and understand AHJ and National Codes, Requirements and Scope of Work
- Routinely request invoices from accounting.
- Submit plans, photos and other forms of documentation to our sub contractor partners.
- Upload corrections and notify the design team in CRM.
- Manage an active pipeline of Electrical and Reroof projects, ensuring pipeline sees timely progress across each stage.
- Communicate with the sales team or sales dealer, customer, design, operations and sub contractor teams to resolve any issues holding up projects, including design revision requests, permit and applications for AHJ or utility, financial stipulations, or any other blocker that might arise needing to be addressed so the project can move forward.
- Work directly with operations and sub contractor teams assigned to your projects to ensure seamless communication and maximum speed and efficiency.
- Be responsible for resolving communications to consultants, customers, installers, and your internal team members within 24 hours, so we are never leaving our customers feeling disappointed or neglected.
- Find creative resolutions to whatever blockers might be in the way of you getting your project to the finish line.
- Collaborate in a cross-functional teamwork environment with various departments such as Sales, Accounting, Customer Success, Operations, etc.
Requirements
Requirements
- Must be self-motivated as well as thrive in a team environment
- Ability to manage work flow while multitasking
- 2 years construction experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Regular, reliable and predictable attendance required
- Must submit all designs finished by the design team with in a 24-hour turnaround time
- Maintain expense reports for daily transactions and submit weekly for checks and monthly for all credit card transactions.
