This is a full-time (40 hours a week) position, that will work 7am - 3:30pm, M-F.
JOB PURPOSE:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for efficiently and accurately handling the receipt, storage, and distribution of solar panel products and related materials, using forklifts and other warehouse equipment to ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers. The Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting the seamless operation of the distribution center, and contributing to the overall success of the supply chain by adhering to best practices in warehouse management and safety protocols.
This full-time, first-shift position supports the company's mission to provide high-quality renewable energy solutions by ensuring that all warehouse activities are conducted with precision, efficiency, and a focus on safety.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Counts, verifies, and manually unloads incoming orders and shipments.
- Manually picks, packs, and ships product/orders.
- Verifies and manually loads orders on outgoing trucks.
- Verifies and manually loads outgoing orders onto customer vehicles.
- Ensures safety and proper performance of helpers on company property, job site, and in transit.
- Consistently uses proper safety gear, including hard hats and steel toe shoes.
- Maintains neatness and cleanliness of warehouse.
- Maintains inventory in appropriate/designated storage areas in warehouse.
- Utilizes forklift for moving inventory.
- General yard and office maintenance to include cleaning and painting.
- Provides quality service to customers using clear communication skills.
- Knowledgeable regarding all company products and services.
- Performs delivery duties as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Satisfactory driving record per company policy.
- Highly organized and self-directed.
- High level of customer service.
- Good listening, reading, verbal and written communication skills.
- Adept at problem solving, attention to detail, and time management.
- Proficient math skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
- Ability to communicate and build associations with all levels within the organization.
- Basic technical skills for data entry, internal/external communications, etc.
- Use of handhelds for inventory and order management.
- Use WMS system for inventory and order management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Forklift experience ; certification preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is:
- Regularly required to stand; walk; use hand to finger, handle, touch, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
- Frequently required to climb or balance.
- Occasionally required to sit.
- Able to move 2,500 lbs with a pallet jack.
- Frequently and repeatedly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs individually and up to 150 lbs on team lift.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

- The hourly rate for this position is $18-$22 per hour. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience, and skill set.

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is:
- Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; and vibration.
- Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Willing to travel between 5% to 10% of the time.
