DescriptionJASARA PMC is seeking a highly experienced Senior Environment Manager - XCS to join our team. As a joint venture between Public Investment Fund (PIF), Jacobs, and Saudi Aramco, JASARA is dedicated to providing world-class program management services in Saudi Arabia. The Senior Environment Manager - XCS will manage, coordinate, develop and review ongoing and future environmental studies and policies. Manage, coordinate, develop and review management plans arising from the environmental studies. Manage, coordinate, develop and review environmental projects and programs that align with the Qiddiya vision, mission, and business needs. Work with the Delivery Partners and Contractors to ensure compliance with the Qiddiya environmental standards and policies, stakeholder and authority requirements, regulations, and laws.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring Qiddiya environmental policies and programs continue to evolve, adapt, and stay relevant in light of fast changing internal and external influences. These factors include:
- A fast track giga-development program,
- Evolving internal and external codes, standards, and governance framework,
- A growing transitional organization,
- Evolving business partner needs,
- Board, Executive, and other key stakeholder expectations,
- Studies and Consultant inputs.
- Develop, implement and audit of Qiddiya project wide Environmental Management System (EMS).
- Ensuring environmental-related programs are developed and delivered, against agreed objectives, targets and KPI’s.
- Ensuring all environmental-related studies and projects are clearly scoped in consultation with the relevant functional areas of the business and the relevant Approving Authority / stakeholders, ensuring studies and projects are delivered within the agreed objectives, targets and KPI’s.
- Monitor the achievement of the objectives, targets and KPI’s by the Delivery Teams, and advise on corrective actions required to avoid performance shortfalls.
- Ensuring reports from Delivery Teams are effectively reported to the relevant functional business areas, Executive and Board, and fed back into ongoing refinement of the Qiddiya Management System.
- Communicating regularly and developing strong relationships across Qiddiya with Delivery Teams, key stakeholders, contractors, and Consultants.
- Participate in design consultant workshops and support the Delivery teams with review of environmental deliverables.
- Ensure that construction phase sustainable design related works are being monitored by the Delivery Teams.
RequirementsPREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in an environmental-related discipline; MSc degree desirable. Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the field of environmental management, with 5 years’ experience in the GCC.
Experience of upholding a management role within a Client, Consultant or Contractor organization. Professional registration with active professional membership is required.

Proven ability to manage a large group of senior technical personnel. Ability to drive excellence in field of environmental. Excellent written and oral communications skills. Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations. Ability to effectively execute and manage complex tasks. Ability to network across departments and key external stakeholders.
