The School of Business, Rutgers University–Camden seeks a diverse group of outstanding applicants for an open-rank (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) Tenure Track Management Position starting in Fall 2023. Applicants must have earned a PhD in Management or a related field by the appointment date, which is September 1, 2023. PhD candidates expecting to complete their degree requirements by the appointment date are encouraged to apply. Candidates are expected to have demonstrated potential to become outstanding scholars and to lead and sustain an ambitious research program suitable for tenure at a research university. This search is part of larger cluster hire at Rutgers-Camden in Sustainability Studies with an interdisciplinary focus and is supported by funds from the Rutgers Presidential Diversity Hiring Initiative. As such, the successful candidate is also expected to be an active participant in the Sustainability Studies cluster, including associated activities across departments in the sciences such as chemistry, mathematics, and physics. The position will include teaching cross-disciplinary courses at the Master’s and Ph.D. level to support the campus-wide Sustainability Studies initiative, along with undergraduate and/or master’s level management courses. Teaching assignments can be on-campus in Camden, NJ, online, and may involve weekend, and off-campus teaching at our locations in Mt. Laurel, NJ, Blackwood, NJ; Lincroft, NJ; and/or Princeton, NJ. The successful candidate will also be expected to perform research that can inform the emerging discipline of sustainability, including but not limited to related management fields such as corporate social responsibility, green supply chain management, and business ethics. Candidates must have a strong interest and skills that enable them to participate in building curriculum, developing innovative academic and experiential programs, taking on leadership roles within the department, and developing and maintaining relationships with the local business community.
