For Linklaters Service Delivery Centre Warsaw, we are currently recruiting for the Global Environment Advisor role.
Are you a passionate environmental professional seeking to make a global impact? Linklaters Service Delivery Centre in Warsaw is looking for a dedicated Global Environment Advisor to join our esteemed Global Environment Sustainability Team. In this pivotal role, you will report to the Global Environment Practitioner and collaborate with the Global Environment Assistant, driving our firm's sustainability initiatives.
Your role:
- Data Management and Reporting: Lead and manage the firmwide environment data system, including scope 1 to 3 greenhouse gas emission calculations, analysis, and reporting. Ensure compliance with legal and voluntary reporting requirements.
- Sustainability Targets: Support the attainment of our Carbon Reduction Targets by 2030 through analysis, research, and communication campaign development.
- Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Draft and respond to environmental data requests from clients and stakeholders, preparing detailed reports and recommendations.
- Systems Improvement: Manage and enhance the firm's environment data management system, explore new software options, and lead implementation phases as appropriate.
- ISO14001 Management: Maintain and improve our ISO14001 certified Environmental Management System, conducting training, audits, and support for global environment representatives.
- Innovation and Problem-Solving: Demonstrate an analytical approach, identifying and solving data gaps and errors, and recommending solutions for increased efficiencies.
What we are looking for
- Character: A good listener, communicator, advisor, and influencer. Confident, self-assured, and detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset.
- Education: Degree or Higher National Diploma in Environment or Analytical fields. Membership in IEMA or similar bodies is advantageous.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience with environmental data, greenhouse gas protocols, and ISO14001 standards. Proven track record in data management, reporting, and advising on improvements.
- Skills: Advanced skills in Excel and Word, intermediate PowerPoint abilities, and strong written and oral communication skills. Capable of organising and driving forward meetings and actions.
Language
- Fluent English (C1 level) – mandatory
Office Skills:
- Ability to organise site-based and global virtual meetings
- Recording, sharing, and driving forward actions post-meetings
- Ability to work in a team environment, prioritise, and manage own workload
Location
Warsaw office - we offer a hybrid working style with 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.
