Solar Pros, a leader in renewable energy solutions, is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated and energetic Appointment Generator. This role is pivotal in expanding our reach and assisting households in transitioning to sustainable energy solutions. Located at our company's headquarters, the Appointment Generator will form an integral part of our grassroots operations team. This Full-Time position requires a highly motivated individual committed to contributing to our growth and sharing our passion for renewable energy. Candidates should note that this is not a remote job and will involve in-person interactions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct door-to-door visits to identify potential clients interested in solar energy solutions.
- Inform and educate homeowners about the benefits and affordability of converting to solar energy.
- Schedule appointments for homeowners with our expert solar consultants to provide detailed assessments and proposals.
- Maintain a positive and professional company image, acting as the first point of contact between consumers and Solar Pros.
- Track and document interactions and appointments accurately in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly targets for qualified appointments.
- Participate in training and professional development sessions to improve skills and enhance performance.
- Report regularly to the management team on progress and any challenges faced in the field.
- Work collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams to refine strategies and approaches based on direct consumer feedback and territory dynamics.
Requirements
- Must own a reliable vehicle for transportation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and move for at least 6 hours a day.
- Demonstrate high levels of perseverance and commitment to fieldwork.
- Strong ability to persuade and close appointments.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus.
- Must be coachable and willing to learn new techniques and processes.
- A hardworking and competitive mindset aimed at exceeding targets.
- Proven track record of success in sales or customer service environments.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented culture while also capable of working independently.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
