Job Title: Campaign Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY
The position of Campaign Coordinator provides support for the Development Department during the Better Wild, Better World Campaign. Responsibilities include a wide variety of tasks to support frontline fundraisers. Provides general program and administrative support to ensure all operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position is for the life of the Better Wild, Better World Campaign, which is expected to last four more years with the possibility of a permanent position at the campaign's end.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provides a wide array of support for the Vice President of Philanthropy, Campaign Manager and other frontline fundraisers.
- Schedules and handles all details for campaign-related events. Organizes attendance, logistics, agenda and materials preparation, meeting minutes and follow-up items as directed by the Campaign Manager.
- Schedules and handles all details for Campaign Cabinet meetings. Organizes attendance, logistics, agenda and materials preparation, meeting minutes and follow-up items as directed by the Campaign Manager.
- Prepares weekly and monthly giving reports.
- Compiles simple database queries and generates reports from exported data.
- Tracks campaign activity in database.
- Prepares solicitation materials, pledge forms and packets for donor meetings as directed by frontline fundraisers.
- Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the Zoo’s discretion.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a liberal arts or business field preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps and database work.
- Demonstrated strong administrative skills.
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information.
- Proven ability to multitask with a very high level of output in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with proven knowledge of how to work effectively and professionally with all levels of internal and external clients.
- Ability to pay continual attention to detail and accuracy in composing, typing and proofing materials.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and telephone etiquette.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends or irregular hours as necessary to staff relevant meetings and events.
- Essential functions require the ability to sit, stand, walk, lift up to 20 lbs., talk, hear, and visually intercept visitors in the performance of the job’s functions.
- A criminal history and background check is required and must be successfully completed.

- Generally works in standard office conditions and climate. Some donor engagement activities may require being outdoors.
