Reporting to the Senior Manager – Banking COE, the role, Transaction Services Analyst – Banking COE, is a member of the Treasury team of GE Vernova HQ. Treasury is responsible for GE Vernova’s activities within Financial Reporting and Risk, Exposure Management, Trade Finance, Corporate Finance, Business Treasury, Insurance and Transaction Services.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Banking COE with due diligence and other activities in solutioning the banking needs of the GEV Commercial teams. Additionally, this person will support critical risk management activities across the broader Transaction Services team and support strategic projects across the organization.
This position will work closely with GE Vernova Treasury teams and other functional teams (legal, tax, risk/controls, etc.), as required.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for performing due diligence and analytics related to solutioning banking infrastructure in support of business needs, in partnership with legal, tax and GE Vernova businesses globally.
- Support Legal Entity Simplification and Bank Rationalization and other strategic projects with due diligence, tracking, analytics and reporting.
- Develop and support analytics related to funds transfer access exception documentation, testing, & scorecards
- Support updates of MyPayments DOA in compliance with policies and procedures as well as quarterly DOA reviews. Resolve any conflicts identified in assurance testing.
- Support creation of new/improved banking infrastructure standard work and execute appropriate actions to mitigate risk
- Establish regular rhythm of communication and engagement at appropriate business levels; provide status of pending requests and gather feedback
- Coordinate w/ other Transaction Services teams to ensure wing to wing process efficiency.
- Responsible for generating key process metrics for senior management
- Ensure all proper controls / standard work is being followed to ensure effective risk management
- Actively seek out improvement opportunities within GE Vernova Treasury Transaction Services org and participate in LEAN initiatives to increase project efficiency
- Work on other key projects allocated to the team from time to time
- Support treasury objectives relating to any M&A and other portfolio actions as well as Industry Initiatives as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Finance or Business
- 2+ years of Treasury related experience
- Fluent written and verbal English skills
- Customer focused balanced by Internal Controls and/or Controllership related mindset
- Demonstrates effective cross functional collaboration with different stakeholders
- Strong analytical, problem solving and data management skills
- Strong knowledge of MS Office (strong excel skills)
