Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Welding & Automation Project Manager in our Franklin, Tennessee location.
The Welding & Automation Project Manager will be responsible for leading capacity and obsolescence projects of automated assembly & fabrication equipment as well as the innovation of new machines. Manage schedule and deliverables, schedule project meetings, coordinate with external suppliers, manage access to project infrastructure.
This is an exciting role that will offer much opportunity to grow and learn in a cross functional role. This position will be directly responsible for development of new technologies relating to fabrication, metal finishing, and automated assembly.

The Project Manager, will manage execution of projects following applicable company policies and processes:
He/She will lead project team (Design, Planning, Purchasing, Contract, On-site implementation… ) and insure customer satisfaction, safety compliance and financial performance.
He/She will manage Customer relationship and third parties within project scope. Accountable for project execution according to contract & specifications.
He/She will Lead the project Launch, lead the project team through task planning and ensure operational Project management success.

Bachelor of Science with an Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology or related filed is required
Hands-on experience of industrial. (hydraulics, pneumatics, servo motion, PLCs, I/O, etc.) is required
3+ years of Welding Process experience is required
3+ years of Project Management experience is required
Granular Welding Process Knowledge is required
Strong PLC skills a plus
Motion Control experience a plus
Robotic programming experience a plus
Machine vision experience a plus
Legacy PC OS experience (Windows, DOS, etc.)
AutoCAD / LabView proficiency.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams
Mobility and willingness to relocate
Proficiency in Safety Engineering w/Exposure to Electrical Safety
