Job Description: Manage operational and digital projects designed to improve the efficiency or effectiveness of the electrical distribution channel for all things relating to Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI). Manage agile projects and drive major business transformations. Serve as the channel day-to-day point person for the management of the channel partners using VMI. Help ensure order flow for regular program purchases on VMI. Troubleshoot errors and work to solve with technical teams. Provide KPI reports, scorecards, and other charts to channel partners on VMI. Work with all channel stakeholders to improve data so it’s clean and limits transmission errors and ensure program content is up to date and drives a positive customer experience. Help drive internal and external awareness of the VMI program and its benefits. Support with all external reporting tools. Support the Manager of Digital Enablement in the Point of Sales strategy for operational synergies. Lead on new transformation asks of the channel that require channel research, partner involvement, change management regarding managed inventory. Monitor and help support the achievement of the Key Objectives of US Channel Strategy, Operations and Digital Enablement. Position eligible for 100% remote work, reporting to management in Franklin, TN company office.
Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field and 3 years of experience in project/program management or data analysis in the electrical distribution or electrical manufacturing industry, which must include at least some experience in the following skills: Using VMI-related software and portals for data analysis and reporting; Data pull and extraction, verification, cleaning, transformation, processing, and reduction; Handling VMI PA errors, validating order points, and releasing orders; Understanding of the US electrical channel; Conducting profile review meetings and discussing KPI’s; Advanced level EDI understanding; Troubleshooting inventory management and software to present solutions to high level stakeholders; Maintaining integrated channel sales database; and Tabulating, interpreting, and sharing performance data with internal and external audiences.
