JOB SUMMARY: This position is located in Pacific West Region at Sequoia and King Canyon Parks, in the Facilities Management Division. MAJOR DUTIES: Performs supervisory duties to include, completing work schedules, approving leave, handling employee relations issues, evaluating, training and coaching subordinates and filling vacant positions Performs work in short and long range daily planning, oversight and approval of purchasing, training and travel for work unit, coordinating work with other departments and contractors. Performs carpentry, plumbing, electrical and painting work as necessary. Performs maintenance, repairs and custodial operations in public use buildings, housing and campgrounds.
