Respected name in the railway electrification sector seeks an Environmental Coordinator to join their team in the Derby area.
The role:
- Help coordinate activities to ensure business meets its environmental targets
- Create consent applications and pre-application consultation
- Carry out site inspections, record results and create reports on findings
- Analyse and report on areas, such as carbon and energy, audit results, inspections, incidents, objectives and targets, producing Excel documents
- Carry out risk assessments for environmental matters, identifying, recording, communicating and addressing any risks
- Participate in environmental incident investigations
- Find areas for improvement and innovation in all matters environmental
The person:
- Environmental qualification
- Previous Network Rail experience with knowledge of NR-L2-ENV-015 desirable
- Driving licence
- Member IEMA / AIEMA
