We are looking for an EHS Manager to help us lead and direct the EH&S activities within the poly operation ensuring compliance with all laws, regulations, applicable codes, and corporate policies about EH&S. As a Trex EHS Manager, you will be looked to as an innovator in the manufacturing process and expected to develop, manage, and lead site EHS programs and activities to keep awareness high and deliver on the company’s commitment that safety is the number one priority. This role is a key member of our Environmental Health & Safety team.

Responsibilities:
- Put safety first - always.
- Lead and foster our “people first” culture.
- Audit safety procedures and processes to maintain compliance. Ensure all required inspections are current and all documentation is accurate.
- Manage industrial hygiene programs.
- Manage environmental activities to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
- Develop, manage, and lead the Site Safety Committee and Emergency Response Team
- Manage and coordinate site insurance loss control and workers' compensation insurance providers.
- Support corporate environmental, health, and safety initiatives as part of the extended team.
- In collaboration with plant manager, prepare and manage the annual EHS budget.

EXPERIENCE
We are looking for leaders with a bachelor’s degree in physical sciences, engineering, or a related discipline plus 6+ years of EH&S experience with a minimum of 2 years in an EH&S management role in a complex 24/7/365 manufacturing environment OR 10 years of EH&S experience with a minimum of 6 years in an EH&S management role in a 24/7/365 manufacturing environment. If you have previous experience with OSHA, NIOSH, NFPA, and EPA rules, regulations and compliance, we want to hear from you.
BASE SALARY RANGE: $90,000-$125,000 annually
The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual and/or sales bonus, in addition to the base salary.
