WHAT WE OFFER
As a Public Affairs & Sustainability Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the intersection of corporate communications, public policy, and environmental stewardship. You will work closely with our Public Affairs and Sustainability teams to support our sustainability goals, engage stakeholders, and communicate our impact on communities and the environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Policy Research: Assist in researching public policies and regulations that impact the chemical industry, including environmental laws, sustainability frameworks, and climate initiatives.
- Sustainability Reporting: Support the preparation of sustainability reports and disclosures, including gathering data, drafting content, and creating visual materials for internal and external communications.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Assist in developing and executing stakeholder engagement strategies, including outreach to government agencies, industry associations, NGOs, and local communities.
- Project Support: Assist with various sustainability and public affairs projects, including research on industry trends, corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, and sustainability best practices.
WHAT YOU OFFER
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Science (Chemistry), Political Science, with a focus on sustainability
- Completed sophomore year
- GPA 3.0
