Responsibilities:
· Support Director and Lead in executing projects in sustainability (ESG) and carbon (GHG) services.
· Conduct advisory or assurance activities including assessment of sampling methodology, data and control activities, conducting risk assessment and determining materiality and overall audit confidence level
· Support GHG and ESG verification projects for Singapore and regionally, with the ability to lead/manage individual projects end-to-end from client proposal and contract review to project completion and payment collection.
· Support client relationships, business development & sales enablement of current & new GHG and ESG services by providing technical sales support, and proposal development
· Keep abreast of changing carbon landscape, including policies or trends to inform business initiatives and to meet evolving market demands
Requirements:
· A Bachelor’s degree in related fields will be preferred with at least 2 years’ experience.
· Effective communication of the verification process, requests and findings to the client
· Auditor with ISO standard knowledge in ESG and GHG preferred
· Knowledge of industrial GHG / ESG related processes and measurement and the potential GHG emission sources in order to understand the Report, and draw accurate and meaningful conclusions from observations, facility documentation and relevant literature;
· Knowledge of international GHG / ESG standards (i.e. IPCC guidelines on treatment of emissions sources, GHG Protocol, GRI, ISAE 3000) and Singapore’s M&R regulations and guidance;
· Experience in identifying misstatements and non-conformities in the Report;
· performed verification of Scope 1 GHG emissions on at least three (3) completed verifications at a reasonable level of assurance over the past four (4) years
· have completed a minimum of one (1) verification engagement of Scope 1 GHG emission reporting at a reasonable level of assurance as verifier under a carbon pricing scheme or regulatory GHG Measuring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) scheme, in a jurisdiction specified by NEA within the past three (3) years
