Our client is a global organisation providing a range of engineering, construction and maintenance services. Due to their business growth in APAC, we are partnering with them to look for an Environment Project Coordinator (APAC), based in Singapore.
Purpose of the assignment
The Environment Project Coordinator is responsible for gathering, analysing and interpreting data in order to determine its impact on climate, resource depletion, pollution and other impacts.
Role and Responsibilities
Under the responsibility of the Chief People & Culture Officer based in Singapore, you lead the Environment approach from Singapore in the Asia-Pacific region (Australia, Indonesia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore).
Main missions:
To support the Company in the deployment of their strategy and in the definition of their roadmap within the APAC region
More specifically:
- To support the implementation of environmental reporting, making it possible to monitor, by measuring quantitative parameters, the progress of actions in favor of the environment on the 3 axes of Energy Transition, Preservation of Natural Resources, and Respect for Natural Environments and Biodiversity,
- To help define the "core businesses" and the sources of reductions on which the actions of the Group should preferably be oriented to obtain the first positive results of reducing their carbon footprint
- With the other divisions of the Company and the Company Academy, to support the set-up and then the deployment of a Corporate awareness training on the environment,
- To support the set-up of a portal to communicate, exchange and capitalize on the advances and virtuous initiatives of the clusters and companies, particularly in terms of Green Offers, tools of carbon footprint calculation, etc
- To promote the Environmental Awards, to support the Pole in registering its employees on the dedicated platform and submitting applications, as well as organizing the participation of the Company in the evaluation of applications
- Deploy the use of internal tools in their business units
Knowkedge and Experience
- Technical training or Degree in engineering with an environment focus
- You demonstrate a first experience (1st job, internship) in the field of energy, in project management and in an international environment

- You are dynamic, autonomous, organized, proactive, people- and challenge-oriented
- You are an excellent communicator; you know how to and like to network
- Fluency in English is a prerequisite
- Ability to alternate working autonomously, taking initiatives, and seeking support when needed, all with a strong sense of responsibility
- Traveling overseas (France (HQ), Asia, Pacific) is to be expected.
