Responsibilities
Lead the design, planning, and implementation of EES programs, including conducting needs assessments, developing program budgets, writing proposals, and managing project teams.
Oversee program implementation, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets by managing resources, supervising staff, monitoring progress, and addressing challenges.
Lead the monitoring and evaluation (M&E) process for assigned programs, developing M&E frameworks, collecting and analyzing data, and reporting on program outcomes and environmental impact.
Provide technical expertise on specific EES areas, such as renewable energy technologies or sustainable agricultural practices, contributing to project development through feasibility studies, data analysis, and technical solutions.
Support senior staff in complex projects by conducting research, preparing reports, and providing technical recommendations.
Facilitate communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, communities, and private sector partners.
Develop and implement strategies for community outreach and engagement, ensuring local voices are heard and participation in EES initiatives.
Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to leverage resources and expertise for environmental and energy projects.
Facilitate stakeholder consultations, workshops, and collaborative decision-making processes to promote consensus-building and engagement.
Contribute to the development and implementation of environmental policies and regulations, advocating for sustainable practices through research, policy briefs, and engagement with policymakers.
Stay current on relevant EES policies and regulations to inform program development and advocacy efforts.
Develop and implement strategic plans, goals, and initiatives to advance environmental sustainability and energy management objectives.
Identify emerging trends, opportunities, and risks related to environment, energy, and sustainability, and develop strategies to address them proactively.
Ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and permits, conducting risk assessments and developing risk management strategies.
Develop and implement sustainability reporting frameworks, metrics, and KPIs to measure and track ESG performance, preparing sustainability reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Public Policy, Sustainable Development, or related field.

Ability to develop and execute comprehensive EES strategies aligned with organizational goals.
In-depth knowledge of specific EES areas such as renewable energy, climate change, or sustainable agriculture.
Understanding of national and international environmental policies and advocacy experience.
