Title: Tenders Manager – Bangalore
Reporting to : Director – Sales & Marketing
Description
The Tenders Manager role at Solar Hitech Solutions is an exciting and challenging role that will directly impact the revenue growth and annual turnover of the company. The role involves scoping for solar water heater and solar power tenders, applying, liasoning with government officials and handling installation and commissioning of turnkey govt. projects.
Responsibilities
· Ensure tracking of tender announcements and rate contracts for state renewable energy nodal agencies and apply for the same
· Ensure weekly reporting of tenders studied, shortlisted for application and applied tenders via weekly calls with Directors.
· Updating company data on GEM portal and track GEM portal tender eligibility and apply as and when relevant on GEM portal
· Prepare all tender documentation as relevant and ensure the tender hard copy and soft copy bids are submitted on time.
· Participate in pre-bid meetings and demos as required by tender organizations and exhibit company products.
· Improve tender coverage from all currently operating states such as Karnataka, TN, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, AP/Telangana
· Maintain records of win/loss ratio and prices of all tenders and use the information for future tenders. Track previous price bid wins and analyze appropriate pricing for current bid.
Travel to relevant government departments for payment collections as well as ensuring quick turnaround time on Security Deposit/EMD refunds once tenders are executed/won
Qualifications
· A graduate degree/diploma in with 3-5 Years of prior experience in tender sales
· Experience in solar or related industry preferred.
· Ability to read tenders fast, process paper work and apply for multiple tenders per week
· Good communication skills – a flair for interacting with govt officials.
· Knowledge of South Indian languages. Candidate must be fluent in Kannada, Hindi and English.
· Flexible to travel
· Ability to work with MS Word and MS Excel softwares.

Compensation/Remuneration
· Compensation at par with comparable manufacturing jobs.
· Bonus/Incentives will be offered based on company performance & achievement of production targets
· TA/DA Allowance separate as part of travel reimbursements
· Mobile bills will be reimbursed where appropriate
