Job Summary:
The Human Resources Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resource department.
Human Resources Assistant duties involve a wide range of support activities inside our HR department, from coordinating meetings to maintaining our employee database to posting job ads. An important part of the role will be to act as the liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt requests and questions.
The position also involves the careful monitoring and tracking of all documentation and paperwork that must be in evidence in an employee’s personnel file. Will also assist with creating and maintaining employee databases on the HRIS systems, creating personnel files, filing employee-related documents, answering department telephones, channeling/relaying messages, communicating, answering questions, and distributing information to employees.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
HR Assistant Essential Functions and Core Responsibilities:
Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resources files, records, and documentation.
Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
Assisted with the recruitment process by, filtering applications, scheduling interviews, assisting in the interview process, and drafting offer letters.
Reviewed human resources paperwork for accuracy and completeness, including verifying, collecting, and correcting data.
Manages the process of employee file digitalization and maintains current electronic HR records through electronic filing.
Performs administrative and clerical work for the HR Department, focusing on new employee orientation and onboarding functions
Assists in the creation, upkeep, and editing of HR-related documents, presentations, and reports
Enters and updates all employee changes/transactions/information into the company HRIS database
Assist with record audits and mandatory reports.
Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
Keeping processed paperwork and employment records

Requirements
HR Assistant Requirements/ Skills/Abilities/Education, Qualifications, and Experience:
At least 1+ years of previous related experience required
Ability to organize and summarize large volumes of data in Excel
Impeccable attention to detail and solid customer service instincts
Ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion
Ability to follow up and follow through on assigned projects and deadlines
Working with others by establishing and maintaining effective, positive, and cooperative working relationships
Adept at prioritizing, multi-tasking, and problem-solving in a deadline-oriented environment
Flexible and adaptable to frequent change
Experience in the solar industry is preferred.
Experience using CRM is a plus.
Proficiency in Google Sheets.
