Wayfare Energy is looking for an experienced Solar Installers. Solar Installers are expected to assist the Solar Installer Lead and crew in the PV solar installation process at residential sites across the Orlando area.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist in residential roof installation of PV solar equipment from start to finish
- Install PV systems in accordance with codes and standards using blueprints and project plans
- Travel to customer sites and preform installs
Requirements
Qualified candidate will have:
- Minimum 1-year experience with residential install
- Attention to detail with emphasis on quality and safety
- Willing to travel
- Ability to read blueprints, understand code and knowledge of electricity basics
- OSHA 10 preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in all weather environments depending on job location
- Ability to work on roofs and in tight crawl spaces/attic settings
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Interest in the solar industry
