Senior Residential Insurance Estimator / Supplementer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Insurance Estimator / Supplementer to join our dynamic roofing company. If you have a passion for precision, extensive experience in the roofing industry, and thrive in working with insurance companies, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for shingle, tile, and metal roofing systems.
- Estimate large losses, including interiors, ensuring all aspects of the claim are addressed.
- Utilize Xactimate for estimating (experience with Symbility is a plus).
- Investigate job files, including photos and documentation, to ensure all estimates are correct and comprehensive.
- Maintain thorough attention to detail, identifying and addressing potential issues in job documentation or estimates.
- Continuously seek new and creative ways to improve estimation accuracy, reduce costs, and recover maximum value for work performed.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, materials, and insurance practices to provide the most effective solutions.
- Collaborate with insurance companies to facilitate approvals, ensuring all recoverable costs are included, as needed.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in roofing estimation, particularly in residential insurance claims.
- Proven expertise in shingle, tile, and metal roofing systems.
- Extensive experience estimating large losses, including interiors and other common subtrades.
- Expert level proficiency in Xactimate is required; familiarity with Symbility is a bonus.
- Experience working with insurance companies as a preferred vendor is a bonus.
- Exceptional analytical skills and focus, with the ability to navigate complex claim files and identify missing elements.
- Laser focused with strong organizational and time-management skills, with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Innovative mindset and problem-solving skills to uncover better estimating methods and maximize claim recovery.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, adjusters, and internal teams.
Location: Onsite in our Winter Park, FL Office
