SUMMARY: The primary role of this position is to implement, support and perform tasks to ensure the tennis facility is meticulously kept as specified by City Park Conservancy. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned): - Total maintenance of both clay and hard courts. This includes windscreens, nets, court surface, trash receptacles, chairs, benches and canopies.
- Clay court maintenance includes brushing twice daily, lining and adding har-tru material and line tapes, as necessary.
- Hard court must be blown or washed as necessary to remove debris.
- All garbage is to be emptied twice daily and regular washing of front and back porches and sidewalks.
- Regularly check light bulbs and air conditioning filters and change when necessary.
- Ensure that all equipment is always kept in proper working order and that equipment is being used for proper purposes.
- Responsible for seasonal refurbishing of clay courts two times a year. This includes scraping off old clay and putting out new clay.
- Responsible for hurricane preparations as stipulated by Tennis Hurricane Plan when necessary.
- Must be able to perform tasks independently as assigned.
- Must be willing to work schedule as posted, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Must keep an Active Driver's License throughout employment.
- Must complete required training as assigned by Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum high school diploma.
- At least two years’ experience in court maintenance and/or facility maintenance experience.
