Starting Rate of Pay: $16.26
Shift Available and Hours: Second Shift 3PM to 11PM
Shift Premium: $1 additional for working 2nd or 3rd Shift
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate various equipment such as mills, punch presses, deburring wheels, benders, saws, specialty machines, turning centers, milling centers, and hand tools.
- Inspect equipment daily to ensure proper guards are in place and notify supervisor or lead of any safety concerns.
- Perform basic set-up on equipment.
- Read and interpret various gauging equipment, ranging from digital calipers, micrometers, protractors, and custom gauges.
- Visually inspect work piece before and after machining for defects.
- Maintain all records on job assignments in a correct and timely manner, on paper as well as in the computer.
- Maintain Q.C. checks on the operation in process.
- Ensure that all scrap and waste material is disposed of properly.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Understanding of safety, quality, and production processes.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
