We are recruiting an enthusiastic Contractor Coordinator to join our highly successful team in our Glasgow Head Office, who will manage the mobilisations of our offshore wind contractors. The successful candidate will be organised, diligent, proactive and a very strong communicator. This individual will further strengthen our professional team in supporting the expansion of an intelligent and comprehensive contract recruitment service to our renewable energy and clean technology clients.
The Role
- Managing existing contractors on a daily basis, handling queries, requests and joining instructions
- Arranging local and international travel and accommodation for contractor mobilisations
- Managing job offers, contract issuance and addressing contract-related queries and amendments for our contractors.
- Managing and monitoring workers rotas and communicating these effectively
- Maintaining compliance with IR35 regulations (ensuring contractors’ employment status is correctly assessed)
- Researching and arranging work permits, visas and immigration processes
- Responsible for collecting certification and insurance documents, working with compliance and administration team to ensure all are valid and audited regularly
- Liaising with clients regularly via telephone and/or MS Teams to ensure contracts are fulfilled accordingly
- Reviewing contractor’s timesheets and expenses in timesheet/payroll software.
- Maintaining and updating company’s CRM system
- Managing and monitoring client portals ensuring company and contractor information is up to date
- Provision of support to management and senior consultants on specific projects on an ad-hoc basis
- Providing ‘on call’ support on a 1/7 week rotation
- Provision of support to Senior Contractor and Compliance Coordinator’s on specific projects on an ad-hoc basis
