About your role:
The Sourcing Strategist will play a key role in supporting the recruitment process by developing and executing sourcing strategies to identify and attract top talent across various disciplines at WRI India. This role involves leveraging creative and data-driven approaches to proactively engage with both active and passive candidates. As a Sourcing Strategist, you will work closely with the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers to meet the organization’s growing recruitment needs, particularly for specialized roles in sustainability, research, and project management.
How your day will unfold:
Develop Sourcing Strategies:
- Source relevant profiles from the applicant pool.
- Design and implement sourcing strategies to identify top-tier candidates from diverse talent pools.
- Analyse and improve sourcing metrics, ensuring the pipeline of relevant candidates.
Candidate Identification and Engagement:
- Use multiple tools and platforms, including LinkedIn, job boards, social media, and professional networks, to source candidates.
- Manage the initial outreach and screening process, ensuring candidates are aligned with WRI’s values and role requirements.
Collaborate with Hiring Teams:
- Work with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and create customized sourcing strategies.
- Provide market insights and talent availability reports to assist hiring managers in the decision-making process.
Diversity and Inclusion:
- Ensure sourcing strategies reflect our commitment to a diverse and inclusive workforce.
- Develop targeted outreach strategies to attract diverse candidates for all open positions.
Pipeline Management and Reporting:
- Maintain an active talent pipeline for important roles and future hiring needs.
- Report and analyse sourcing metrics and adjust strategies based on performance data.
- Ensure all candidate information is maintained within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Employer Branding:
- Promote WRI India as an employer of choice through networking events, social media campaigns, and partnerships with universities.
Qualifications and requirements we seek:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1 or more years of experience in talent sourcing, recruiting, or a related role in non-profits, environmental organizations, or mission-driven sectors.
- Knowledge of sourcing tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS systems, Boolean search).
- Develop and implement successful sourcing strategies for niche and hard-to-fill roles.
- Engage both passive and active candidates.
- Demonstrated experience supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives in recruitment.
- Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to report on important sourcing metrics.
Salary and Benefits: 6,50,000 INRCTC Per annum
Salary shall be commensurate with experience and skills. WRI offers a generous and comprehensive benefits package.
Duration: 1 years as term hire (extendable based on performance and project requirements)
Location: Delhi
Start date: As soon as possible.
