C& E Quality & Tools is part of Converter & Electrical Module in Nacelle R&D in Vestas R&D. Vestas R&D is a business unit where new product ideas are developed, matured, improved, maintained and tested. Vestas Power Solutions operates on a global scale with more than 3000 employees.
The TCM area within Converter & Electrical is responsible for developing and maintaining concepts, processes and tools for Transport, Installation and Maintenance of our Electrical components mainly Converter, Switchgear, Transformer and HV Cables of wind turbines. We are involved in new turbine development as well as maintenance and optimization of the existing fleet. Electrical TCM is responsible to build and deliver business improvement initiatives, cost out and process maturity related to transport, construction and maintenance value chain
Responsibilities
- Drive and implement Jira Maturity rules (supported by SMO and TL)
- Follow-up on Jira Maturity, according to the defined rules, and ensure the compliance
- Create and maintain individual dashboards on assigned project tasks, remaining's and logged hours
- Drive and follow-up the team logged hours
- Provide documentation and workshops to team members in Jira related content
- Create and maintain a Jira FAQ wiki page
- Decompose EPICs, TASKs and maintain Jira integrity (inputs from TL and WPR)
- Project Billing Tool
- Develop and facilitate SCRUM activities
- Identify project risks: up to date reports on remaining's vs milestones by project (1)
- Identify project deviations: up-to-date reports on bookings vs remaining of the Sub-Module projects (1)
- Follow-up on projects burn rate (1)
- Simulate allocation scenarios and support/replace SMO on resources planning (C-level planning) (2)
Qualifications
- Bachelor / Master's in any engineering / Project management / Similar specialization
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in Project management/planning/Scrum
- Pragmatic experience as dedicated Project Planner/ Assistant Project Manager
- Proficient communication and presentation skills in English, both verbally and in writing
- PRINCE2, PMP or similar project management certificate
- Know-how from a heavy-duty industry (e.g. energy industry, car manufacturing industry, shipyard industry, construction industry etc.)
- Experienced user of project planning tools such as JIRA
