Reporting to Vernova Transaction Services – Global Programs & Governance Leader, this role is responsible for executing one or more process improvement or automation projects to improve processes across Vernova Transaction services.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead one or more projects to implement LEAN processes across the Payments COE for the Disbursements processes to meet customer expectations for SLA’s and Quality and to meet productivity goals. Share best practices across other teams to drive continuous improvement. Drive and report out on KPI’s.
- Be an ambassador for creating a LEAN culture that facilitates adequate segregation of duties, risk mitigation and operational efficiency.
- Support functional requirements for implementations on GEV ERP’s and Treasury systems across multiple regions. Share expertise and own providing requirements for Transaction Service processes and modifications/enhancements to program logic during the projects. Provide training and ensure successful handover to operational teams.
- Actively communicate project status, outcomes, results (within organization, stakeholders) - set up and manage communication rhythm, provide regular project update
- Closely monitor and control project status & deliverables & deadlines and process simplification & standardization efforts
- Drive change management methodologies, consistent communication, and training processes to gain user & stakeholder engagement, adoption
- Proactively develop self through coaching received throughout the projects from experienced implementation leads and trainings.
- Develop strong working relationships and operating rhythms with Stakeholder & Business partners
- Collect and analyze data to help facilitate problem solving activities and identify countermeasures to address business problems.
- Assist with solving repetitive system and bank production issues requiring interface with Bank, IT and Product Management leaders to ensure timely resolution.
- Support the respective Project Leads, in Lean initiatives by drawing out Value Stream maps and facilitating/participating in Gemba walks with cross functional teams.
Qualification / Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related area.
- Financial services experience OR treasury/payments experience
- Finance shared services experience, or solid understanding of shared services dynamics
- Proven ability to work independently to achieve results.
- Strong organizational skills – ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously in fast-paced environment
- Willingness to drive process excellence with focus on simplification, standardization, transformation (+Change / Lean mindset, structured problem solving)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Technical Expertise -Treasury Finance Processes; Experience dealing with payment processes in a multinational environment, W2W perspective on Treasury processes (focus area: Disbursements/ Payments)
- ERP Knowledge (SAP and/or Oracle)
- Project management exposure (with emphasis on planning, stakeholder management, risk assessment, escalation, operating rhythm) – and experience in executing smaller initiatives
- Effective interpersonal skills and highly professional style when dealing with stakeholders & business clients
- Results oriented: self-starter with strong ownership & accountability with a proven track record of execution
- Presentation & communication (oral & written) skills, fluent in English
- Computer skills esp. Excel, PPT, Visual- Key Performance drivers
- Knowledge of Treasury payment system infrastructure (i.e. Trax, Mypayments)
Desired Characteristics
- LEAN experience a plus
- Candidates with experience with GE S2P and payments processes will have a strong advantage
- Adaptable/flexible: open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances. Able to work in ambiguous situations. Experienced in a matrix and global environment preferred
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and driving results across multiple stakeholders and departments.
