Job Description:
- Drive the growth of the Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) segment within the organization, ensuring it becomes a key revenue stream.
- Generate Leads through the network, industry contacts, and consultants to identify potential opportunities for power sales agreements.
- Spearhead all commercial discussions with potential clients, ensuring favourable terms and outcomes.
- Lead the closure of PPAs by working closely with internal teams and external partners.
- Ensure adherence to state-specific regulations, especially those related to Group Captive power sales, while handling the regulatory landscape effectively.
- Build strong relationships and coordinate effectively with State Regulatory bodies, Discoms, and other key stakeholders.
- Present business cases to secure internal approvals for corporate PPA opportunities.
Role Requisites:
- Qualifications: BE and/or MBA from tier 1 or tier 2 institutions
- 8-12 years of experience, with at least 5 years in Corporate PPAs within the power sector. Wind energy experience is preferred.
- You are a proactive self-starter who thrives in achieving ambitious targets in a competitive environment.
- A strong flair for numbers is essential, with expertise in tariffs, pricing models, and associated financial elements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex commercial negotiations and deliver win-win solutions.
- Deep understanding of the regulatory landscape across states, especially in the context of group captive models.
- Ability to adapt to changing market dynamics and customer requirements, coupled with a strong problem-solving mindset.
- Willingness to travel frequently to build relationships, close deals, and stay connected with the market.
