Region MED > SBU MED Service > SCADA Technical Support
Regional Support is responsible for overviewing, implementing and managing SCADA systems. The department collaborates with internal stakeholders and Vestas clients within Vestas MED. It provides state-of-the-art leading technology in monitoring, control and data acquisition systems for the wind technology which covers and provides any SCADA related support to the Construction and Service Departments
Responsibilities
- Level 1 support for SCADA and IT systems in windfarms
- Platform troubleshooting, server hardware and software
- Provide remote support to service technicians in on site operations
- Provide and keep updated internal ticketing tools
- Technical Documentation
Qualifications
- Technical education in IT , Electronics or similar
- Experience in server operating systems, Linux and SQL servers
- Experience in VMware
- Knowledge and experience of networking and their configuration.
- PLC programing and communication protocols (IEC,104, IEC101, MODBUS, DNP, OPC) is a plus
- Comprehensive English skills, both verbal and written
- Valid driver's license
