- Responsible for all issues related to Supplier Quality
- Lead and participate in investigations regarding supplier parts that impacting production areas
- Oversight into any supplier sorting activities
- Coordinating team on supplier issues (established meeting cadence for prolonged issues)
- Support all Internal and External Audits for ISO, Fresh Eyes.
- Manage quality support requests
- Provide real time Quality issue feedback to base departments
- Assure required immediate containment, and establish control plans when needed
- Leading supplier team to 8D closure, and issue chargeback when applicable
- Request work orders through Controllers office, create Purchase Orders, track invoices and process weekly invoices when applicable
- Initiate Weekly Issue tracking notification to each supplier
- Corporate Standards, achieve timing, meet budget, and adhere to First Time Through (FTT) capability.
- Attend all team meetings per Time and Data Management Standards.
- Deliver 6 Sigma Projects – 2 project per year for cost or quality improvement.
- Drive Process and Standards.
- Strive for continuous improvement.
- May supervise hourly personnel.
ResponsibilitiesYou'll have...
• Associate’s Degree in Engineering or related field of study
• 3+ years manufacturing experience in production and Supplier Quality preferred.
• Excellent Leadership and Interpersonal Skills.
• Ability to interact with all employees in the organization.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Six Sigma Green Belt.
• Demonstrate ability to lead and work as a team
• Strong analytical, problem solving and organization skills
Qualifications• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field of study
• Six Sigma Black Belt
• Ability to speak Mandarin

This position is a range of salary grades 6-8
This role will start remote and then will be working hybrid out of Marshall, MI, with expectation to be on-Site at Marshall once building construction and timing is established (relocation package available).
It is anticipated that within 30 days of your employment with Ford, you will become a secondee of BlueOval Battery Michigan LLC. A secondee is an employee who will continue to be employed by Ford Motor Company but work at BlueOval Battery Michigan, Ford’s wholly owned subsidiary. Afterwards it is anticipated that within 8 months of your employment with Ford, you will become an employee of the Ford’s fully owned subsidiary of BlueOval Battery Michigan LLC. The terms and conditions of your employment with the separate BlueOval Battery Michigan LLC company will be communicated to you in advance of your transition to that entity. You will remain an at-will employee at all times during your employment with Ford or any Ford affiliate or subsidiary with which you later become employed.
