About COGS' Client:This German company operates in the renewable energy industry, primarily focusing on solar power projects. They handle everything from project development to maintenance, aiming to promote the use of clean energy solutions.
Key responsibilities include:

Provide comprehensive leadership throughout the entire project lifecycle for Solar, Battery & Agri PV projects, guaranteeing successful completion within budget, timeframe, and quality specifications.

Conduct thorough site assessments to evaluate construction feasibility. Monitor progress and verify construction alignment with quality and contractual requirements.

Spearhead the coordination of all Site Acceptance Tests, Commissioning activities, and Performance Tests.

Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients, investor-owned utilities, distribution network operators (DNOs), subcontractors, landowners, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and technical advisors.

Effectively manage a team of project resources, including engineers, on-site quality managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Implement and enforce the highest Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) standards throughout all project phases.

Contribute to the creation of compelling project tender information and develop detailed specifications and work scopes for subcontractor or supplier agreements.

Generate comprehensive progress reports and take ownership of project budget reporting.

Proactively identify and escalate potential risks impacting budget, schedule, or quality to the Head of Project Management.

Play a key role in developing best-in-class strategies, processes, and teams specifically designed for delivering success in Floating Agri PV and Battery projects.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil or Industrial preferred) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in similar project or construction management roles.

Advanced knowledge and proven application of project management methodologies and processes.

Prior experience within the field of Renewable & Traditional EPC projects is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of financial principles with the ability to independently manage financial information processing and contract management tasks.

Proficiency in MS Office products, particularly MS Project.

Excellent written and spoken English communication skills are required. Fluency in German is a valuable asset.
