GEA is seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager to spearhead our carbon capture and storage projects within the Benelux region.
Responsibilities / Tasks
As Business Development Manager you spearhead our carbon capture and storage projects within the Benelux region, while also supporting our sustainable solutions sales in Belgium. In this dual-focused role, you will spend 50% of your time developing new business in the carbon capture sector and the remaining 50% supporting our existing sales team in promoting sustainable solutions.
Your Responsibilities:
Account Management: Maintain and enhance relationships with existing customers in the French-speaking part of Belgium, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities to sell additional services, components, and projects.
New Business Development: Actively prospect and develop new business opportunities in the region, targeting customers in the Beverage, Dairy, Food, and Home & Personal Care industries.
Customer Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in engineering and service teams to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet customer needs.
Field Presence: Regularly visit customers and attend industry events to build strong relationships and stay updated on market trends.
Your Profile / Qualifications
Your Profile:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably with a commercial focus and a technical background or equivalent experience.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in sales, with experience in project sales being a strong advantage.
Skills:
Proven sales and negotiation skills.
Strong relationship management and people skills.
Business acumen with basic analytical abilities.
Excellent planning, organization, and result-oriented focus.
Fluency in English, French, and Dutch, both spoken and written.
Mindset: A strong desire to develop new business and pioneer in emerging market segments.
