Schneider Electric is looking for Building Automation Project Manager
Project Manager Role:
The Project Manager is responsible for achieving the project’s objectives. You will work closely with the Project Executive, Project Sponsor and Project Management Team to define the project objectives, create a plan for and executing the plan to achieve those objectives. The Project Manager has a working knowledge of the technical and organizational environments in which the project deliverables are created and in which they will be used.

The Project Manager must be an excellent communicator at all levels within the project environment, be proactive, exhibit strong leadership qualities, and be able to adapt to a dynamic and potentially geographically disbursed project environment.
This position is based in the Construction department and involves managing multiple projects at the same time. Projects typically have a duration of 6-12 months and typically execute through the construction tier.
Project Manager Expectations:
- Coordinate and complete projects on time, within budget, and within scope
- Manage solution executive projects: large project in a single business with high added value or low complexity project in multi businesses
- Lead project team
- Monitor and control progress & budget, assess and manage the risks in order to meet customer satisfaction and the project schedule.
- Manage complete job process order preparation through financial close-out and provide technical support
- Contribute to the project managers community
- Experience in Building Automation
Project Manager Qualifications

- 3 or more years of relevant experience in the field of building automation and or technical experience
- Understanding of and proficient in project management skills
- Strong understanding of Building Management Control Systems and Troubleshooting of building mechanical equipment
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Professional Scheduling Programs
- Financial acumen and understanding
- Excellent customer service
- Leadership skills: team building, empower and delegate authority, ability to build rapport and consensus
- Knowledge of contract law, codes, standards, and industry construction knowledge
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Influence and convince internal and external customers, listen effectively, and solicit input from others
- Handle multiple demands and assignments, prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently and manage resource procurement and utilization
- Resolve design issues through RFI's, field surveys, and documentation
For this STATE based position, the expected compensation range is $112,000-140,000per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job[1]related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
