Job Title: Rides Attendant I (IllumiNights)

Job Status: Seasonal
Job Purpose: To provide a safe and enjoyable experience to Zoo Atlanta's Members and guests on all rides and attractions. We are looking for teammates to operate Wild Explore (our 360 virtual reality experience) and our carousel during IllumiNights: A Chinese Lantern Festival (November 9th - January 17th; 4:45pm - 9:30pm). Daytime hours during and after the festival may also be available.
JOB FACTORS:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must be able to safely and efficiently operate Wild Explorer (the 360° virtual reality experience) and the Endangered Species Carousel
- Responsible for maintaining the highest level of safety in the work area by complying with all safety protocols and procedures
- Perform any other miscellaneous projects/assignment assigned by Zoo Atlanta’s management team
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work evening hours are 4:45pm-9:30pm
- 16 years or older
- Must have and maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be friendly, outgoing and approachable
- Must be able to multi-task and pay close attention to details
- Must be willing to support Zoo Atlanta’s Vision, Mission, and Values
Work Environment:
- Most work will be outdoors in all kinds of weather
- Ability to work with large groups
- Ability to work with children of all ages
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
