Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in West London, are looking for an experienced Environmental Health & Enforcement Officer to join their team and play a crucial role within their Food Safety Operation
Role: Environmental Health & Enforcement Officer
Pay: £31.35 ph umbrella
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Contract Length: 4 months rolling
Location: West London
Responsibilities:
- Provide the council’s statutory functions in respect of duties undertaken by the appropriate Environmental Health team which includes the following areas of work: Food Safety, Health & Safety, Filthy and Verminous, Infectious Diseases or Special Treatments.
- Acting within a specialist team, identify priorities, manage workloads, project participation, investigations or similar, monitor performance against targets, provide updates on progress and ensure duties or assigned objectives are delivered within agreed timescales.
- Make responsible decisions relating to service requests, enforcement actions, advice, investigations, sanctions, consultations, other interventions and anything else related to Environmental Health responsibilities.
Job Requirements: - Previous experience working for a Local Authority or similar organisation.
- Experience working in a Environmental Health & Enforcement Office or similar role
