Responsibilities:
1.Staff management of DE team
- Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among department members that allows for disagreement over ideas, conflict and expeditious conflict resolution, and the appreciation of diversity as well as cohesiveness, support, and working effectively together to enable each employee and the department to succeed.
- Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall organization's and that emphasizes the identified mission, vision, guiding principles, and values of the organization.
- Provide oversight and direction to the employees in the operating unit in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
- Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
- Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals. Delegate responsibility and expect regular feedback.
- Lead employees using a performance management and development process that provides an overall context and framework to encourage employee contribution and includes goal setting, feedback, and performance development planning.
- Provide effective performance feedback through employee recognition, rewards, and disciplinary action, with the assistance of Human Resources, when necessary
- Integration German Blue Collar FSE into CN core team
2.Safety at work for DE team
- Health and safety of the workforce. To ensure safety in production, avoid personal injury;
3.KPI and routine work of DE team
- Production system element implementation and adaption
- Optimization of production activities and productivity by IE method
- Connection to Germany, Spain and Canada for production system and IE
- Production planning inside production/maintenance
- TPM and problem-solving element implementation
- Operative Maintenance planning and execution
4.Staff training and qualification for DE team
- Supervise the foreman to train new employees to meet the qualification matrix.
- Develop foreman training plan.
- Cultivate everyone's enthusiasm for learning.
- Competence transfer to new project
5.Suport Dalian Team to create standards and lesson learn for Salzgitter plant and globally
Qualifications:
1.Necessary education:Bachelor / master’s degree in engineering/project management major
2.Personal skills:
- Knowledge of production system
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance
- Knowledge of Industrial engineering and Lean Manufacturing
- Knowledge on Project Management
- Leadership to drive team and people development.
- Clear and logical communication skills
3.Working experience (in years):
- 6+ years in manufacture industry
- 2+ years with team management experience is preferred.
- 3+ cross-function/ internationally working experience is preferred
4.Language skills:Proficient English and German
5.IT knowledge:Office application software, basic SAP modules
