1. Identify local technical requirement of wind turbine in Japan and facilitate discussion with Japanese authority or utilities.
2. Manage engineering projects (e.g structural design and certification) to ensure on time project delivery with right quality and budget.
3. Act as the interface internally and externally when it comes to structure design and certification.
4. Facilitate discussion with external Japanese design house in relation to the tower Minister Recognition Process
5. Facilitate discussion with certification agencies in relation to wind farm certification process, and new technology introduction.
6. Prepare construction permission documentation to METI for approval.
7. Provide engineering support/solutions (in terms of structure design, certification, and warranty) to Japanese projects under sales acquisition, execution, and operation.
8. Maintain/improve TPM infrastructure- platform, documentation, process, tool, and methods.
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Structural engineering or Civil engineering;
• 5-8 years’ experience in design or R&D project management within manufacturing industry.
• Experience in wind power industry is preferred.
• Experience with wind turbine design (e.g loads calculation, tower design etc) is a plus;
• Experience with certification agencies (DNV-GL, ClassNK ) is a plus
• Good project management skills
