Reports To: Executive Director
FLSA Exemption Status: Non-Exempt
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Executive Director, the IT Specialist will be responsible for implementing and managing complex systems and solutions via integration of a broad spectrum of individual hardware and software technologies. They will perform administrative and technical procedures on information systems and maintain documentation covering multiple functional areas and several locations. THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION!
Essential Job Functions:
- Configures and maintain network devices, laptop and desktop computer hardware, operating systems, and associated services.
- Participates in developing plans, schedules, and requirements for the deployment and lifecycle of systems.
- Ensures security of network assets.
- Designs, develops, tests, debugs, installs, implements, modifies, and supports new or existing applications software in accordance with area standard practices.
- Works with users to analyze their requirements.
- Maintains familiarity with installed software standards and procedures and provides technical guidance to other staff.
- Provides technical support of workstations and laptops and technical guidance for assigned customer base.
- Assists with user account administration, file rights management and backup/recovery policies and procedures.
- Assists in the development of appropriate technology solutions for information delivery and/or learning environments.
Position Requirements / Qualifications:
- 3+ years information technology experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite applications including SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, OneDrive, Azure, and Exchange.
- Experience with Salesforce.com required.
- Ability to problem solve, work independently, and manage time efficiently.
- Strong communications skills and people skills required.
- The right candidate for this position is organized, creative, and detail oriented.
- Prior solar industry knowledge not required
Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000
