Responsibility
- Develop and Implement Quality Standards:
Establish and maintain comprehensive quality standards and procedures specific to welding materials and processes in the supply chain.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality requirements into supply chain operations.
- Supplier Quality Management:
Ensure supplier quality performance, including conducting audits, evaluations, and periodic reviews to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Work closely with suppliers to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Identify opportunities for process improvements in welding supply chain operations to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.
Lead or participate in projects aimed at optimizing welding processes and materials to improve product quality.
Provide training and guidance to supply chain team members on quality-related topics.
- Quality Control and Inspection:
Develop and evaluate quality control plans and inspection protocols for welding materials and components.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for non-conformances and implement preventive measures.
- Compliance and Certification:
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer-specific requirements related to welding.
Assist in maintaining necessary certifications and accreditations for welding processes and assembly process.
- Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare detailed quality reports, metrics, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, inspections, and test results.
- New supplier qualifications:
Follow Vestas process to qualify new suppliers.
Close open findings and mitigate the gap.
Follow APQP4Wind process to qualify item and process
Identify the risk during the qualification process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field).
- Proven experience as a Quality Manager / leader or specialist, particularly in welding or related manufacturing processes.
- Good knowledge of welding technologies, materials, and quality control methodologies.
- Familiarity with international quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO18001, ISO45001, ISO 3834).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver multiple priorities.
- Excellent English both spoken, read and write.

- Can accept frequent business trip in China
- Main work area at Yangzhou, Suzhou, wuxi, Changzhou
