Cleantech Civils is currently looking to recruit a highly organised, practical and versatile Site Set-Up & Support Operative to support the mobilisation and demobilisation of company sites and to assist with the maintenance and deployment of company vehicles, plant, offices, welfare units and equipment.
This role might suit someone fulltime or parttime, both options are open for discussion.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Supporting all site mobilisation and demobilisation requirements.
Preparing site offices and welfare units to a high standard, both internally and externally, ensuring they are clean, safe, fully operational and ready for deployment.
Preparing and setting up materials stores and COSHH stores, including the correct electrical and plumbing arrangements.
Preparing all signage, fencing, barriers and associated equipment for safe loading, transportation, offloading and installation on site.
Supporting the deployment of company vans, jeeps and other vehicles to various project sites.
Supporting the repair and maintenance of small plant and general site equipment.
Ensuring all equipment, materials, signage, fencing and site facilities are accounted for during demobilisation and returned in good condition.
Filter returned materials & re stack/band as appropriate for re-issue.
Liaise with Purchasing to track returned materials & reissue to other sites as required.
Supporting project sites with additional materials, equipment and practical requirements as necessary throughout the programme.
Working closely with the Plant Manager and site teams to ensure all mobilisation and demobilisation activities are completed safely, efficiently and within required timeframes.
Working in varying team sizes to meet project requirements and deadlines.
Maintaining high standards of Health & Safety, housekeeping and organisation at all times.
Selection Criteria / Person Specification:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar construction, civil engineering, plant, maintenance role.
Experience in preparing site offices and welfare units for mobilisation.
Experience in general maintenance, repairs and refurbishment of site offices and welfare facilities.
Experience in metal fabrication and welding.
Experience in spray painting and general fabrication works.
Experience in internal office and toilet fit-outs and repairs.
Experience in the repair and maintenance of small plant and equipment.
Knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing requirements associated with site set-up.
Full Clean Driver’s License.
Eligible to work in Ireland.
