Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a Public Sector client based in West London, are looking for an experienced Envirocrime Investigator to join their team and play a crucial role in their environmental protection operations.
Position: Pest Control Officer
Rate: £34.79 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: Temp (Nov 2026) Possible Extension
Working Arrangement: Fully Onsite
Purpose:
- To protect communities and public spaces by enforcing environmental laws, deterring offences that investigates and prosecutes offenses that harm the local environment and public spaces.
Job Responsibilities: - Look into complaints about fly-tipping, littering, dog fouling, graffiti, abandoned vehicles, and waste duty-of-care breaches.
- Conduct formal interviews under caution following the Police and Criminal Evidence Act (PACE).
- Build comprehensive case files and represent the council by giving testimony in court or formal tribunals.
Job Requirements: - Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
- Understanding of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, PACE 1984, and related local government laws.
- A full UK Driving Licence and access to own Vehicle
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
