Roles and Responsibilities
In the 12-monthEnvironment,Health,and Safety (EHS)Placement, you'llgain invaluable skills and experience, providing support to all areas of the site including office functions, operations and engineering, and promoting and implementing EHS policies and procedures internally and externally to maintain EHS regulations/legislations.Youwill provide environment, health, and safety support to our Cheltenham facility. Within the role,youwill work collaboratively to solve problems,developand executeobjectives, and achieve short-term and long-term site EHS goals.
The specific activitiesyoucould be involved in are the following:
Lead on IT EHS applications, including training, Spotfire reporting, workflow development andmaintaining/updating the EHS and Occupational Health Intranet sites.
You will be guided by structured goals andobjectivesand will have responsibility to deliver on inspiring projects supported by your People Leader and team around you. We will guide you throughout the year to ensure you make the best of your GE Aerospace experience. Your People Leader will offer coaching and mentoring, and you will be provided with the opportunity to connect with other placement students across the UK.
