Education and Certifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Required Experience:
- At least 8 years of environmental, occupational-safety, industrial-hygiene, or health-program experience.
- At least 5 years of ESH experience in an industrial, facilities-maintenance, aerospace, utility, construction, critical-infrastructure, or Government technical-operations environment.
- At least 3 years of experience as an ESH Manager, Safety Manager, Environmental Manager, or equivalent program lead responsible for personnel, policies, compliance, training, and corrective actions.
- At least 5 years of experience interpreting and implementing OSHA requirements under 29 CFR 1910 and 29 CFR 1926.
- At least 3 years of experience developing or administering PPE, fall-protection, lockout/tagout, confined-space, hazard-communication, asbestos, or hazardous-material programs.
- At least 3 years of environmental-compliance experience involving refrigerants, air emissions, hazardous or universal waste, PCBs, storage tanks, used oil, recycling, spill prevention, or regulated-material disposal.
- At least 3 years of experience conducting workplace inspections, hazard analyses, incident investigations, near-miss investigations, compliance audits, or corrective-action tracking.
- At least 3 years of experience developing and delivering employee ESH training and maintaining associated qualification and training records.
- At least 2 years of experience using a CMMS or comparable compliance-management system to schedule and track inspections, tests, permits, certifications, and corrective actions.
- At least 2 years of experience coordinating with federal, state, or local regulators; Government customers; emergency responders; or third-party inspectors.
- Experience supporting electrical work, HVAC and refrigerant work, fuel systems, heavy equipment, vehicle maintenance, construction, or severe-weather operations is preferred.
- Must possess and maintain a professional ESH certification.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the Department of Commerce suitability determination required for key personnel.
