Responsibilities:
· Develop battery 3D thermal-electrochemical modeling coupling various physical phenomena (electrochemical reactions, diffusion, chemical reactions, expansion effects, thermal effects).
· Use the 3D models for better material property design, improving pre-lithiation process, predicting cell / battery-pack temperature profiles, simulate local shorting, understand effects of Li non-uniformity and high C-rates on battery performance, understand degradation reactions contaminant handling etc.
· Expertise in working with commercial software such as ABAQUS / COMSOL / Ansys / GT or equivalent software a must.
· Expertise in making reduced order models for use in applications.
· Experience in battery electrochemistry and electrode structure design.
· Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams within the organization, including manufacturing, testing, NPI, and sales.
· Communicate key results / insights from these models to R&D, Manufacturing, and leadership teams through internal reports and meetings.
· Create IP for the company.
· Stay up to date on battery modeling and recent advancements in this field.
· Represent and promote Enovix products in technical conferences.
₹20 - ₹35 a year
Qualifications:
· Degree in engineering, physics, chemistry, or related discipline. Background in chemical engineering / electrochemistry/ battery modeling a must.
· Experience: Candidates with at least 5 years of work experience are preferred.
· Technical Skills
o Proficiency in building thermo-electrochemical models in one of the following software: ABAQUS, COMSOL, GT, Ansys/ FLUENT.
o Proficiency in the following is a plus
§ Pseudo-2D models (PyBaMM), single particle models
§ Python, optimization algorithms, libraries such as Pandas, Scikit learn and visualization libraries.
· Good communication, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
