The Role
The Building Decarbonization Analyst role is a crucial team member, who will be one of our resident experts on building decarbonization programs, policies, technologies and markets. Other core responsibilities include translating customer needs into product requirements, engaging with customers and stakeholders to deliver effective solutions, and assisting with business development. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator with existing subject matter expertise in building electrification and/or energy efficiency policy and programs.
Responsibilities
- Be an expert on building decarbonization policy and programs, with a focus on incentive programs for residential retrofits
- Play a key role in defining the company vision for new industry standards for incentive program design and implementation
- Assist in ideation, design and implementation of new and innovative products and features, informed by ongoing analysis of technology trends, policy developments and customer needs
- Assist with business development and go-to-market, including the design and execution of pilot engagements to test and demonstrate our product with customers and key stakeholders
- Assist with the development of partnerships, including strategic and channel partnerships, to support our go-to-market strategy
- Interact with and support our customers to answer subject matter related questions and maintain an excellent customer experience
- Collaborate and influence program design and implementation strategy at incentive providers and regulatory agencies
About You
- BA or Masters in a relevant field
- Attention to detail & highly organized
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Proficient in text editors, data manipulation apps (Airtable / Retool) and spreadsheets
- Adaptability, flexibility and collaborative to work in an early-stage startup environment
Compensation
The U.S. base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 plus benefits, equity and variable compensation for Sales-related roles. This range represents Rock Rabbit’s good faith estimate of competitively-priced salary for the role based on national, real-time industry data from companies of a similar growth stage. This range reflects minimum and maximum new hire salaries for the role across US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by location and individual factors including relevant skills, experience and education or training. This range correlates to the relative level of the candidate we believe we need for the role and may require an adjustment for candidates of a different level. We can share more about the specific salary range for the location this role is based during the hiring process.
