About the company
We turn food waste into positive value on-site with our innovative food waste solution. We developed an on-site containerized anaerobic digester, called a Waste Transformer. It is placed next to companies or in communities that produce food waste. Biodegradable waste, such as kitchen waste and commercial waste, is used to create biogas and then converted into electricity and heat. The food waste itself turns into liquid natural fertilizer ready to replace (polluting) artificial fertilizers.
With clients from Africa to Europe and the Middle East and a team from 7 different countries, our company is very international and embraces diversity.
Whatyou'll be doing
As our Sales Manager, you're:
· Interested in international sales and have strong affinity in creating a positive environmental and societal impact.
· Love storytelling even more - because that's what its all about when selling an innovation.
· Part of the commercial team and you create strategic account hit lists, follow up on leads, deploy external roadshows, setup customer appointments and bring in new projects.
· Taking ownership fast and work with (executive) stakeholders, but you are not a lone wolf. You have a team around you, who you can learn a lot from and ask for support.
· Making contact with strangers and networking is in your DNA. You like to sell something and you speak/write flawless English. We expect you to be commercial and to be proactive in spotting opportunities. We love to hear your story about your best win.
· Approaching challenges with a can-do mentality and very eager to achieve your goals and to learn.
· You'll report to and be supported by our Commercial Director Pieter-Willem.
What we're looking for
· Strong business and commercial acumen.
· You completed your Bachelor's or preferably your Master's, specializing in business. Ideally, you also have experience/education in a field related to bio-process or technical engineering.
· You are highly independent, a self-starter and willing to travel on a regular basis.
· Preferably 3 to 5 years of commercial experience. Commercial experience in innovative technical equipment is a plus.
· Strong Office (xls, ppt. etc) and presentation skills.
· Excellent analytical skills.
· You speak fluent English and preferably good Dutch. Spanish and/or Italian is a plus.
