Contract Manager – Renewable Energy
Location: London – Hybrid Working
Salary: £80,000 – £95,000 + Bonus & Benefits

We are supporting a rapidly growing international renewable energy business looking to appoint an experienced Contract Manager to join its London-based commercial team.
The business is actively developing and delivering a portfolio of major renewable energy and energy infrastructure projects across the UK and Europe, with significant investment planned over the coming years.
This position will take responsibility for the commercial and contractual management of projects throughout the development, procurement and delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead contract management activities across major renewable energy projects.
- Support projects from procurement and contract negotiation through execution and close-out.
- Draft, review and negotiate EPC, construction, consultancy, supply and service agreements.
- Manage contractual obligations, variations, claims, extensions of time and change control.
- Identify commercial and contractual risks and provide practical mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with Project Management, Procurement, Engineering, Finance and Legal teams.
- Support negotiations with contractors, suppliers, consultants and project partners.
- Maintain contract administration procedures and ensure contractual notices and correspondence are issued correctly.
- Provide commercial and contractual advice to senior project stakeholders.
- Support dispute avoidance and resolution where required.
Experience Required
We are interested in speaking with candidates who have:
- Strong contract management or commercial management experience within renewable energy, power generation, utilities or major infrastructure.
- Experience working with large construction, EPC or energy-related contracts.
- Good understanding of contract administration, variations, claims and commercial risk.
- Experience negotiating contracts with contractors and suppliers.
- Familiarity with contract forms such as FIDIC, NEC, EPC or bespoke energy agreements would be advantageous.
- Excellent commercial judgement and stakeholder management skills.
Experience within solar, wind, battery storage, grid infrastructure, energy-from-waste, hydrogen or wider energy transition projects would be particularly relevant.
