This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Project Engineer, Energy Storage Advisory based in United States.
The Senior Project Engineer will provide technical and commercial due-diligence expertise across energy storage, solar-plus-storage, and hybrid renewable energy projects.
The role supports high-impact financing, acquisition, tax equity, and development transactions where technical rigor and commercial judgment are essential.
You will evaluate project contracts, financial models, technical designs, operating assumptions, and documentation to identify risks and assess bankability.
Working across engineering, financial, environmental, and project management teams, you will help deliver clear, consistent advisory reports to sophisticated clients.
The position offers direct exposure to lenders, developers, investors, and other senior stakeholders across the North American renewables market.
Beyond project delivery, you will contribute to business development, thought leadership, mentoring, and the continuous improvement of advisory methodologies.
The role can be performed remotely in the United States or from offices in Latham, NY, Houston, TX, Northbrook, IL, or Oakland, CA.
